• Tips:

  1. If you feel like a character is between two options, such as an Equitable character between Cooperative and Egoistic, ask and choose based on why they internally act that way.
  
  
  2. If you feel like a character fits multiple options at once, such as a Devout Principled character, focus on what the spectrum represents instead of the individual wording, or choose the most relevant and defining option.

• Social - How I interact, bargain, and work with other people.

  1. Altruistic - Showing unselfish concern for the welfare of others.

     “If I can take the hit so you don’t have to, I will. If your success hinges on my sacrifice, let it be so!”

  2. Cooperative - Willing and able to work well with others.

     “We’ll get farther if we do it together. I’ll pull my weight and help where I can if you do the same, deal?”

  3. Egoistic - Marked by concern for oneself.

     “I’m just looking out for myself, I’m not trying to hurt you. Don’t expect me to risk myself for you here...”

  4. Exploitative - Using others unfairly for advantage.

     “Sometimes people have to lose for me to win, that’s expected. I take what I can get, however it needs to happen, you know?”

• Ordinance - How I interact with and operate under laws or governance.

  1. Legalist - Strict about following rules or law (especially the letter of it).

     “Your feelings don’t rewrite the rules, and neither do mine. It says so in the 14th ammendment.”

  2. Lawful - Regularly obeying the law; permitted by law.

     “The rules may be wonky at times, but order keeps things from turning into a free-for-all... and I don't want to be thrown into a cell again.”

  3. Transgressive - Crossing a boundary; breaking a rule or norm.

     “They drew a line and I stepped over it. Not by accident, no, I did it on purpose. Sometimes you have to break the rules to get what you need.”

  4. Insubordinate - Disobedient, rebellious, or mutinous to authority.

     “Don’t give me orders. I don’t care who you are, you don’t get to command me!”

• Discipline - How I manage myself: habits, impulse, attention, and follow-through.

  1. Systematic - Done according to a plan and methodical in procedure.

     “Same routine, same steps. I don’t wait to feel ready and I don't like to improvise. There's no time to prepare when you're put on the spot like that.”

  2. Focused - Directing attention toward one goal or task.

     “How do I do it? Well my friend, one thing at a time. Give me a target and some quiet, and I’ll stay on it until it's done. That's why I'm charging 7 gold.”

  3. Impulsive - Acting suddenly without careful thought.

     “I know, I know, I should think first. I just… can't help it! It feels right; I'm compelled to just, act and deal with it after, before the moment is lost. Don't you dare call me a FOMO-”

  4. Chaotic - Marked by confusion or lack of order.

     “Look at them, scheming away. I'd die if I had to do all that planning. I bounce, I improvise, I go all in, and it always works out!”

• Environment - How I coexist with the world around me: what I take, what I return, and what I leave behind.

  1. Symbiotic - Mutually beneficial.

     “If this place does well, I do well. I cultivate it and thrive, and when it finally bears fruits... I get fruits I guess.”

  2. Sustainable - Able to be maintained long-term without depletion or collapse.

     “Yes, I only take what I need, not what I can. I want this to still be here tomorrow, don't you?”

  3. Extractive - Taking value out while giving little back.

     “Look dude I'm just trying to survive out here ok? I'm sorry I didn't recycle last week, I barely get enough resources as it is.”

  4. Destructive - Causing damage or ruin.

     “You gotta survive out here in this world... using anything and everything you can muster to collect. For example, I found this bomb in the back a second ag-########☒☒☒☒☒”

• Belief - Where my values come from: myself, a mix, or an outside doctrine.

  1. Devout - Deeply committed to a religion or belief.

     “No, this isn’t a hobby. It’s the backbone of my life, my choices, my identity. If I need to make a choice or state an opinion, it will not contradict this.”

  2. Adherent - Someone who supports or follows a particular belief system.

     “There's some wisdom in them elders' noggins and books. I lean on it instead of guessin when times get a tuffin.”

  3. Eclectic - Choosing what seems best from many sources.

     “I’ve learned things from all kinds of people. I keep the parts that hold up, and rely on myself when it starts to fall apart.”

  4. Principled - Guided by a personal code of behavior.

     “My values are my own. They are refined, formed by purpose and an understanding of the real world we live in. I can tell you exactly why I live by them, and why you probably should too.”

• Power - How I express my will around others, and how much I yield or press further.

  1. Submissive - Inclined to submit to the authority or will of others.

     “If you want it that way, sure. Just tell me what you want from me or what you want to do, we can go do it.”

  2. Passive - Not active or assertive; letting things happen.

     “I don’t really care which way this goes. Pick something and I’ll follow along, unless you actually want my opinion? Ha, didn't think so.”

  3. Assertive - Confidently stating one’s needs or opinions.

     “I want to visit the Crystal Caves again to find more loot we likely missed. Any objections?”

  4. Dominant - Commanding, controlling, or having power over others.

     “I’m taking charge. We’re going to follow this path because it's optimal. If we do it that way it will slow us down. Listen, I'm just being rational here.”
